Monsterpod
The Monsterpod is a great solution for small cameras, enabling you to take night shots or photos that require a tripod, but using any surface. Screw your 20-ounce and lighter camera to it and stick it to any surface and boom, you've got a still shot.

I've actually used this and prefer Joby's Gorillapod. This will stick to more surfaces, but gets a little gunked up on the bottom and doesn't always feel secure. The Gorillapod won't stick to smooth surfaces, but can be wrapped around street signs, tree branches, etc. You should check it out: www.joby.com
