Alvaro Leite Siza - Tolo House

Yet another concrete house! I may have a fetish for them.

The Tolo House in Portugal by Alvaro Leite Siza is an intelligent response to a hillside site. The first image I have shown here is the plan & section, which present the house as an extension of the hillside, or rather as subservient to it.
The stairs and narrow passage ways through the house (and at the same time, up the hill) create an intriguing maze and play of spaces.

I love this house! I have the perfect property to build something similar but don't know if I could find someone qualified to build it or if it would pass the permits stuff. Great design!
